We are seeking an Automation Consultant (all genders) - Region US/NA with a passion for helping customers embark on their automation journey. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with customers, guiding them through the evaluation of their specific needs and advising on possible applications and achievable results using our platform. You will be a key link between marketing, sales, and engineering, working together to set up and support the platform for new customers and ensure they fully understand and leverage its potential. Your ability to communicate the vision of automation, while ensuring smooth implementations, will play a critical role in customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to evaluate their specific requirements, identify potential automation opportunities, and provide advice on achievable value.
  • Master and maintain deep product knowledge, including integrations, to effectively guide customers through the setup and deployment process.
  • Assist new customers with platform setup and POC guidance, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge for a successful implementation and smooth transition to our Customer Success Team.
  • Serve as a key technical advisor, delivering tailored solutions and answering detailed technical questions related to the integration of our automation platform in diverse IT environments.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, ensuring all teams are aligned in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Share insights and feedback gained from customer engagements with internal teams to help refine and improve our offerings.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, community events, and other industry gatherings, both in person and virtually, showcasing the benefits of our automation platform.

Key qualifications:

  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to collaborate closely with customers to define and achieve their automation goals.
  • Deep technical understanding of automation tools, platforms, and IT environments, with a talent for translating complex solutions into clear value for customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying the vision of an automation journey in a way that inspires customers and drives adoption.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.

Ich arbeite als Softwaretester bei ScriptRunner und bin dadurch in hohem Maße für die Softwarequalität zuständig.

| Welche Herausforderung hast du bei ScriptRunner gemeistert?

Ich arbeite bei ScriptRunner zum ersten Mal in einem Scrum-Team als Softwaretester. Natürlich war am Anfang alles ganz neu. Aber es war und ist immer noch spannend zu erleben, wie Scrum im echten Leben angewandt wird. Ich bin begeistert, wie gut das funktioniert!

| Wie wichtig ist Teamarbeit in deiner Rolle und was schätzt du an deinem Team?

Ich finde Teamarbeit wirklich sehr wichtig. Ohne das gesamte Team könnten wir niemals eine so anspruchsvolle und zukunftweisende Software entwickeln und auf den Markt bringen. Besonders gut gefällt mir in unserem Entwicklungsteam der wertschätzende Umgang miteinander und dass jeder bemüht ist, konstruktives und wertschätzendes Feedback zu geben. Das hört sich zwar einfach an, ist aber nicht immer so leicht wie man denkt. Aber in einem tollen Arbeitsklima kommt man schnell rein. Außerdem schätze ich die Möglichkeit jederzeit Fragen stellen zu können und mich so stetig weiterentwickeln zu können.

| Was findest du am spannendsten an deiner Arbeit bei ScriptRunner?

| What do you like most about your position as Head of Sales?

I really enjoy learning about other cultures and their business processes. From Canada to Guatemala, from Mexico to Israel, and many other countries, there is a variety of customers and industries that we convince with our ScriptRunner. A meeting with a prospect from Brazil on Monday and with customers from Texas on Tuesday? - Variety guaranteed!

| What challenges do you face in your area?

“Communication is key!” Here, fluent English is a must-have! Communication is crucial in our field. One must be absolutely confident and competent in communicating with customers in another language and be able to sell our complex product, we want to be professional like our solution, and fluent English is definitely part of that.

| What kind of person should your new colleague be?

That's a good question. I'm looking for someone who brings the right mindset and wants to make a difference. ScriptRunner as an automation platform is super flexible and integrates seamlessly into the complex infrastructure and IT processes of our enterprise customers, here it's fun to help the customer with their vision. He/She should be a "doer" and bring joy to the work. A team player who communicates openly and has the necessary drive would be a dream. Teamwork makes the dream work!
